Salt is More Deadly than Sugar
What happens cooking without salt? It definitely feels less savory. However, what happens the body of excess salt? Deadly!
Besides as a spice in cooking and as a mineral needed for bodily functions, salt has side effects.
Salt, on the other hand, is not very important for the body. Too many salts in the body contribute to the development of many diseases. Call it, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, heart disease, fluid retention, and death.
American Heart Association data show about 2.3 million people worldwide die each year from excessive salt consumption. This amount is much higher than deaths from sugary drinks/soda.
The findings of researchers at Harvard University, England, also revealed that the salt triggers one in 10 deaths. And, 84 percent of deaths due to salt a lot going on in countries with low and middle incomes.
