Beware, Vision disorders in children
Impaired vision was not only in adults, but the disorder can be experienced by a child. We have had a lot of children who experience vision disorder and this condition can not be ignored for the handling of which can be done quickly.
Most children get a problem with one of their eyes. Yet there are also children who experience a disruption in their eyes.
The most common problems occur in the child’s eyes is astigmatism or astigmatism, farsightedness, lazy eye or amblyopia.
Eye or vision disorders must be diagnosed quickly so that the children can get a good education without having distractions while studying or activity.
“If immediately treated, vision problems can be fixed more easily. But otherwise if left unchecked, the eye disorder that occurs in children could get worse,” said Dr. Rohit Varma of the University of Southern California, told Reuters.
Research by the University of Sydney in more than 1,000 children aged 2.5 to 6 years found that visual impairment in children is a problem mostly cylindrical. More than half of respondents said cylindrical impaired, followed problem farsightedness and amblyopia (lazy eye).
Comparison between boys with women who have vision problems tend to be the same. But the children who were born with low birth weight (LBW) have a higher risk of vision problems.
Children with visual impairment who soon get a quick treatment such as glasses, tend not to worsen the condition than those who were not treated.
Child’s vision system still continues to grow and evolve, especially when they are 5 to 6 years old the first. Highly advised parents to give special attention from the little habits that can make myopic eyes, as well as conduct regular eye examinations in children.
